Professor Carlos Moreno is the Scientific Director of the Research lab “Entrepreneurship Territory Innovation” at the IAE Paris-Sorbonne, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Carlos Moreno earned international recognition as a scientist with an innovative mind, pioneer works, and a unique approach to urban issues. He is also a scientific advisor to national and international figures of the highest level. He works at the heart of issues of international significance due to his research, bringing an innovative perspective on urban issues and offering solutions to the issues faced by cities, metropolises, and territories during the 21st century. Some of his concepts traveled the world: the ‘Human Smart City’, the ’15-Minute City’, and the ’30-Minute Territory’. In 2022, he led the Global Observatory of Proximities launch at the World Urban Forum with UN-Habitat, C40 Cities, UCLG, and other partners.
Catherine Gall is the Executive Director of the Sorbonne-based ETI Research Laboratory (Entrepreneurship Territory Innovation) created by Professors Carlos Moreno, Didier Chabaud, and Florent Pratlong, which specializes in challenging conventional city planning models. The ETI Lab is well known today for its “15-minute City Model”. Catherine is also an experienced creative design thinker, business leader, and entrepreneur, as well as a member of the Responsible Leaders Network of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
